Nice cocktail, good aperitif, great atmosphere in the night!

Famous for its light lunch and aperitif, this "historical" florentine bar is located in San Niccolo', in the heart of the city movida (San Niccolo', Via de' benci, Santa Croce, Via Pietrapiana...).

If you want to see how Italians enjoy themself at aperitif time this is the right place to go!

As someone who brings clients from abroad to Florence throughout the year I am always asked to recommend bars and restaurants to new visitors. The district of San Niccolo\' is one of my favourite parts of the city and I often send clients to eat and drink in that area. Bar Zoe is (or was) a favourite of mine as I used to come here all the time when I lived in Florence as a student. A recent experience however echoes that of the previous comment, where I was amazed at the cost of a simple glass of Prosecco for 7 euros at 6pm on a sunny evening, without any sign of an aperitivo. I would have been more than happy to pay 5 or even 6 euros with at least a plate of olives or nibbles. It\'s unfortunate that these experiences leave a sad taste in your mouth and make you think twice about making future recommendation, especially when there are other bars nearby serve a great aperitivo with drinks at 5 euros.

E' vero, in teoria e' uno dei bar piu' cool di Firenze..in pratica...ieri io e la mia ragazza siamo venuti qui per un bicchiere di Prosecco e ci siamo trovati di fronte uno staff davvero poco gentile che ha praticamente ignorato per 2 volte la nostra richiesta di patatine (ma alla fine ce le hanno date visto che l'aperitivo non era disponibile...) e che soprattutto ci ha presentato un conto di 14 (DICO, QUATTORDICI!) Euro per 2 bicchieri di normalissimo Prosecco senza aperitivo!!!! Alla mia richiesta di spiegazioni mi e' stato risposto che non sono loro a fare il prezzo e che anche a loro sembra tanto....E alla mia domanda se c'e' differenza fra il costo del bicchiere con o senza aperitivo la risposta e' stata che non c'e' differenza!!!! DA OGGI NON TORNERO' PIU' ALLO ZOE! Per fortuna ci sono tanti altri posti nuovi in citta'... MA POSSIBILE CHE UN LOCALE POSSA COMPORTARSI IN QUESTO MODO CON DEI CLIENTI?
