Located on one of the most panoramic terraces of Fiesole, La Reggia degli Etruschi (once a monastery and later a tearoom) is today one of the most exclusive restaurants in the city with a breathtaking view over Florence and its monuments. This typical restaurant offers its guests the best traditional Cucina Toscana.

The restaurant is also an "enoteca" (a winery) where you can taste Tuscan wines recognized worldwide such as Solaia, Brunello di Montalcino, the fabulous "Super Tuscans", and many others that could accompany your traditional tuscan dinner in Fiesole, while immersed in the magic of the Florentine hills...

Besides two spacious internal halls with traditional tile floors, wooden ceiling beams and large, bright windows offering an unforgettable view over Florence and Fiesole, the restaurant boasts a delightful terrace on two levels surrounded by flowers and greenery; inside there is an abundant wine cellar featuring the best Tuscan wines – such as Morellino di Scansano, Tignanello, and Sassicaia – an incredible selection made with passion and experience by Leonardo, the restaurant's grand chef/sommelier.

Although the restaurant has maintained the taste of Tuscan tradition, it offers typically Florentine dishes creatively updated with a touch of modernity. For example, you can taste a carpaccio (thin slices of raw beef) with arugula, parmesan shavings and thin strips of mango, home-made gnocchetti (small potato dumplings) with Roquefort cheese and white pepper, or Angus steak with black truffles and strawberries. My name is Rebecca and I studied in Fiesole with Saint Mary\\\'s University 6 years ago. Almost every night we ate at La Reggia and many nights we stayed late for wine with Leonardo. I am now coming back to Italy with my cousin and my sister and would like to show them my favorite restaurant in all of Italy!

Vakkert sted, nydelig mat - og hyggelig personale. Vi koset oss skikkelig idag søndag 8. mai 2011 - og spiste deilig mat - et stykke skikkelig mør biff m/bacon rundt i en smakfull rød-druekompott - og nødt en god vin. Anbefales på det sterkeste!

I can't believe I lived in Florence for a year and didn't discover this place!!! If I had, I would have literally lived here. What a view...but more importantly, what incredible food...dishes arrive in front of you that just make you smile from ear to ear. Next time I want to try the beef tartar which we saw the chef make in front of the table next to us. Such a great evening! Thank you!

Impressive on every level...location in Fiesole with one of the most incredible views over Florence, creative, delicious and beautifully presented, dishes, great wines, great service and atmosphere. Somewhere where you would like to stay for hours...and where you feel welcome to! Ideal for a romantic dinner for two, a business lunch, a family meal, or a night out with friends! I highly recommend a visit!

I stayed at Villa San Michele of Fiesole for a week (magic place) and they recommend me to have a dinner at Ristorante la Reggia....One of the best food experience of my life! Perfect food, amazing view, great Brunello, nice owners. The top. I hope to back here soon!

Incredible view over the city. Seriously an impressive place for location and quality of food. The selection of wine is great (you'll find hundreds of bottles all around the restaurant, especially after Vinitaly). I have been there 3 times in 15 days. Great great experience. Definitely recommended especially with nice weather so you can eat on the terrace outside and enjoy the view...
