We know this place very well. And we adore it! The view is simply magic, especially if you eat on the terrace (but also from the table inside you can enjoy the wonderful view over the city). The food is very well presented and is directly chosen by the owners Mario & Leo (father and son) and we had always great dinner here either romantic or with a group of friends. Also, you can find here a wide selection of Italian wines. In fact the whoel restaurant is covered in wine!! We really, seriously, recommend this place. High quality food, great wines, magic location and....last but not least fair prices!!!

In uno dei punti più panoramici di Fiesole e a pochi passi da una splendida terrazza da cui si può ammirare tutta Firenze, il Ristorante la Reggia degli Etruschi, si colloca in un antico edificio, un tempo monastero.

Trasformato all'inizio del secolo in un'esclusiva sala da the è oggi uno dei migliori ristoranti fiorentini. Ricco di tradizione e di charme, permette grazie alla sua posizione strategica di godere di una fantastica vista su Firenze....

... Oltre a due ampie sale interne con pavimenti in cotto, soffitto a cassettoni e ampie finestre con un'indimenticabile vista su Fiesole e Firenze, il ristorante si sviluppa verso l'esterno con una deliziosa terrazza su due livelli circondata da fiori e piante verdi; all'interno della sala un'enoteca ricca dei vini migliori, Morellino di Scansano, Tignanello, Sassicaia un'eccezionale selezione scelta con cura e passione da Leonardo, grande Chef/Sommelier del Ristorante.

Partendo dai tipici piatti fiorentini il ristorante, a gestione familiare, è riuscito pur rivisitando l'ambiente e la cucina stessa - a conservare la tipica atmosfera del ristorante Toscano.

E quindi ecco che si può assaggiare un piatto di carpaccio di chianina accompagnato da rucola, foglie di parmigiano e fiammiferi di mango. Oppure... gnocchetti fatti in casa con Rochefort e pepe bianco. E ancora... filetto di angus al tartufo nero con fragole Leonardo propone piatti in cui il gusto tipico dell'arte culinaria Toscana si unisce alla fantasia ed ai colori della cucina Europea e Mediterranea.

Il risultato è una perfetta e sorprendente sintesi di tradizione ed eleganza in un ambiente unico immerso nel verde delle colline fiorentine... Assolutamente da non perdere!

My name is Rebecca and I studied in Fiesole with Saint Mary\\\'s University 6 years ago. Almost every night we ate at La Reggia and many nights we stayed late for wine with Leonardo. I am now coming back to Italy with my cousin and my sister and would like to show them my favorite restaurant in all of Italy!

Vakkert sted, nydelig mat - og hyggelig personale. Vi koset oss skikkelig idag søndag 8. mai 2011 - og spiste deilig mat - et stykke skikkelig mør biff m/bacon rundt i en smakfull rød-druekompott - og nødt en god vin. Anbefales på det sterkeste!

I can't believe I lived in Florence for a year and didn't discover this place!!! If I had, I would have literally lived here. What a view...but more importantly, what incredible food...dishes arrive in front of you that just make you smile from ear to ear. Next time I want to try the beef tartar which we saw the chef make in front of the table next to us. Such a great evening! Thank you!

Impressive on every level...location in Fiesole with one of the most incredible views over Florence, creative, delicious and beautifully presented, dishes, great wines, great service and atmosphere. Somewhere where you would like to stay for hours...and where you feel welcome to! Ideal for a romantic dinner for two, a business lunch, a family meal, or a night out with friends! I highly recommend a visit!

I stayed at Villa San Michele of Fiesole for a week (magic place) and they recommend me to have a dinner at Ristorante la Reggia....One of the best food experience of my life! Perfect food, amazing view, great Brunello, nice owners. The top. I hope to back here soon!

Incredible view over the city. Seriously an impressive place for location and quality of food. The selection of wine is great (you'll find hundreds of bottles all around the restaurant, especially after Vinitaly). I have been there 3 times in 15 days. Great great experience. Definitely recommended especially with nice weather so you can eat on the terrace outside and enjoy the view...
